Lee T…. The answer is that when a man has an enlarged prostate, or prostitis. They insert a finger or fingers in to the rectum, and message the prostate to help empty it and help with the pain. It is uncomfortable, but can be of help after it has been done. They also use it to get analysis of the fluid as anotherone said. It does feel good after it has been done, but it may not be right off. yes you can do it yourself, but you will have to implement something usually to hit the spot. do not confuse a prostate massage done for sexual pleasure with a prostate exam done by a doctor. Sure both involve insertion of fingers into the dark place but the interactions and the sensations to be created can be very different.
Yes,m you can do it yoruself. Just be sure to trim finger nails and wear one fo those surgical type cgloves so you don;t damage anything inside. Also use lots of lube.
