The prostate is supposed to be a very sensitive and erotic thing. Maybe he needs that “extra excitement” now that he’s experienced it once.

The massage does release a great deal of seminal fluid but leaves the guy unfulfilled sexually. It is like the feeling that one has after an orgasm but without the forceful ejaculation. You feel a high level of excitement and can feel the seminal fluid pouring out of the penis yet you don’t feel sexual relief due to lack of orgasm. Your husband should just wait until the morning after the massage see if an erection works better then. They don’t actually numb it but I suspect it is the high level of stimulation that overwhelms his body during the procedure that prevents his erection.
